A signing ceremony on cooperation between Mayland Group and Pearl RiverEnterprises Group was held at Qingyuan Mayland Company on the afternoon ofDecember 8, 2016. The two sides will cooperate to build Mayland City into a regional high-end international community and health industry base, boosting theeconomic development of Guangzhou-Qingyuan New Town and promoting theintegration of Guangzhou and Qingyuan. This signing ceremony was attended byleaders of Qingyuan Municipal Party Committee and Government, as well as seniormanagement teams of Mayland Group and Pearl River Enterprises Group, andrelevant leaders delivered important speeches.

Pearl River Enterprises Group cooperates with Mayland Group to deepen the implementation of Guangzhou-Qingyuan integration strategy

More and more well-known enterprises at home and abroad are willing to come to Qingyuan to seek business opportunities motivated by the Guangzhou-Qingyuan integration strategy. In the past three years, a total of 823 projects, including 427 industrial projects and 396 non-industrial projects were launched under the Guangzhou-Qingyuan integration strategy.

Under the context that the real estate industry is facing both opportunities and challenges and state-owned enterprises are carrying out in-depth reforms, Pearl River Enterprises Group has made a big step in its strategy by investing heavily in Mayland International Resort (share ratio: 48%).

Mayland City  is a super real estate developed in Guangzhou for ten years, with abundant land reserves and distinctive features among numerous projects. Li Xinquan, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingyuan Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Mayor and Commander-in-chief of Guangzhou Counterpart-Assistance to Qingyuan Headquarters, delivered a speech for this event. He said, this project was signed under the background of accelerated integration of Guangzhou-Qingyuan, having great significance and far-reaching impacts. This in-depth cooperation between the two sides is based on the livable city quality at the boundary of northern part of Guangzhou and southern part of Qingyuan, aiming to promote the integration of Guangzhou and Qingyuan and relieve the urban burden of Guangzhou. It is of great practical and far-reaching strategic significance to build a regional high-end international community and a health industry base by taking Qingyuan’s advantages in natural ecological environment and space. It will also play a positive role in building the Guangzhou-Qingyuan New Town as a city integrating creative industry clusters, tourist destination, medical care and education.

According to Mr. Liu Yuanbing, Mayland City  is located at the intersection of Guangzhou and Qingyuan and within the range of Baiyun Airport Economic Zone, having special geographical advantages. It is a new urban area developed in the past 10 years, abundant in natural lakes and mountains and other superior ecological resources. At present, there are a number of large-scale projects such as Guangzhou-Qingyuan Industrial Park and Qingyuan Chimelong as well as rich tourism resources like Mayland Resort and Ferris wheel. In the future, there will be more than 200,000 residents here, and all kinds of supporting facilities in education, medical care and living services will be gradually completed. It can be said that the future here is more promising than “South China New Town”.
